Peutz has all relevant computer facilities at its disposal and develops software for specific research. The laboratories are an important support in the field of acoustics and building physics, as measuring is sometimes easier and more precise than calculating. The laboratories consist of several acoustic chambers, climateic chambers, facade test arrangements, a wind tunnel and a sunlight simulator. The laboratories are also used for product development and research, internal as well as external.

All measurements, as far as they are not linked to specific laboratory set-ups, can also be carried out on site. In addition, there are many types of measurements relating to sound, light, wind, heat and moisture, which can only be carried out on site.
